Clear aligner treatment is an aesthetic orthodontic treatment option frequently used in recent years to treat dental and jaw irregularities. This treatment utilizes a series of custom-made aligners, designed entirely using digital systems, including the impression and planning process. The treatment's greatest advantage is that it eliminates the aesthetic concerns often associated with braces, as it's virtually invisible. With these treatments, the emphasis on careful eating and thorough brushing after each meal is eliminated. Patients who wear aligners can remove their aligners and consume whatever they desire, without any restrictions on food or drink during treatment. They can maintain good oral hygiene.

The clear aligner treatment process begins with digitally capturing your oral impressions using a 3D scanner. We analyze intraoral and extraoral photographs, X-ray findings, and the resulting 3D model to develop a personalized treatment plan using computer simulation. Once we approve the plan, the production process begins, and your aligners are shipped to us within approximately 2-3 weeks. After receiving the aligners, we prepare the inserts that guide tooth movement with clear aligners during our first appointment, and begin wearing them. We continue to follow-up appointments at varying intervals based on the treatment plan to achieve the desired results.

Clear aligners are worn for an average of 7-10 days, no less than 20-22 hours per day. You're asked to remove them when eating and drinking and store them in the storage boxes we provide. To ensure hygiene, soak them in water and a toothbrush between uses, or in a cleaning agent if necessary, to ensure they're clean.

Clear aligner treatment is an ideal orthodontic treatment method, especially for patients living out of town or abroad. Checkup frequency can be extended by dispensing as many aligners as possible, and the frequency of visits can be reduced, depending on the treatment plan. During this period, checkups are conducted online through the user-friendly programs available on the system. For patients without transportation issues, visits every 5-6 weeks are sufficient.
